Blog 02: [Unspoken] Boat Ramps

This one I’m going to keep vague, because ya know… can’t advertise boat ramps since staying overnight is a little bit touchy. BUT, we highly recommend if you are in desperate need of somewhere to park AND you like peace and quiet. Boat ramps, typically, provide a gorgeous view and have easily become one of our favorite spots to park. When we head out to the beach, it’s nice knowing that we have somewhere to park other than a Walmart or Kroger (though those are very convenient for 2 hungry hippos like us).

Staying at a boat ramp— you don’t want to overstay your welcome. With regulars coming through every morning dropping their boat into the water, it’s best to get out of there as early as possible to respect the boaters hauling their boats. This allows them the space they need to turn around as well as park their trailers.

Moral of the story: Parking here is so fun but BE respectful of those who are using it for proper use. Please clean up after yourselves and don’t overstay. When you overstay not only is is disrespectful to the boaters, but you’re more likely to blow your cover and have the cops called on you.

Please park responsibly.
